So much has happened since my last post...

First on the list of firsts are Noah's first steps. He's not what we'd call walking yet, but he's taken about 3 steps in a row! He's also babbling up a storm. Not much is recognizable yet, but he sure likes the sound of his voice. He's gotten another tooth so we're up to a grand total of five.

Noah's Favorite Things at 11 months old:
5. Playing with whatever toy his big brother is using at any given moment
4. Drinking out of the Dog's Water Bowl (Just like the Dog, face first)
3. Pulling as many Books off the shelf at the library as he can before his mother catches him
2. Playing in the Toilet while his brother is potty training
1. Exploring everything in his world through his sense of taste

And Fisher rode his first horse and caught his first fish both in the same day. He loved both expereinces and still two weeks later says, "Talk about the horse,Mom" and "Talk about Fishing with me, Dad." The girl on the horse with him is it's owner, she was so good with Fisher!

He's quite the conversationalist. We went for a walk past the skate park last night and he said "I can skate there when I'm bigger, like this many (and held up ten fingers.)" And last but not least Fisher has started the potty training process! Yeehaw. He's doing quite well, he sometimes needs to be reminded instead of telling us, but last night we were a couple blocks from home on a walk and he said he had to go potty, and waited till we got here. Not a single accident yesterday!

Fisher's Favorite Things at 2&1/2:
5. Potty Treats (to most of us their known as Jelly Beans)
4. His Bike
3. Going to the Beach
2. BOOKS- Reading to us or having us read to him
1. Peeing outside like a "big boy"

There must be something to tell you about Andy and I, but life isn't about us anymore, and besides none of you want to read about us anyway! Take Care All.

My Dad (ammended)

Last Sunday my Dad gave a sermon with Pastor John at our church. He did a great job, really the best I've ever heard him do about helping those in need. You can hear the sermon on our church's website. Hopefully you can figure out how to get to it. It's the sermon called "Walk Across the Room."

I've posted the link to the right of my blog page so you can get to it from there. You'll need to log on to the church website, but it gives you the password and user name to do that, so just follow the directions, once you get to the page.

I'm so thankful for having such an amazing Dad, who has surrendered his life so completely to the Lord's calling. Dad thanks for all the lives you've touched in so many different ways. I love you!

Just want to give instructions for those interested on how to listen to the message on our church link.

1. Go to the church website at http://tcwscc.com
2. On the left of the website there's a column that says main menu click on "Messages"
3. Then on the right you'll need to sign in using the Username: mp3
and Password: sermon
4. Then click where it says May 2007
5. Next Click "May 27- Walk Across the Room"
6. Last Click "Listen" it will download the audio (which my take a few minutes) and you'll need to use the whatever audio program your computer is set up to use.

Hope this helps. The message is about 40 minutes long so you may want to wait till you get the chance to sit down for a little while to do this.

Summer Fun!

We've been thoroughly enjoying the sunshine, Fisher's hair is bleaching out already, if only his momma could have some of that blond. We've been playing in the sand box and have become regulars at the park. We have playgroups that we attend pretty consistently where Fisher (and Mommy too) have a great group of friends. We've really been working with Fisher on taking turns and sharing, what a tough life lesson it is, I think it totally contradicts human nature, he can be such a little cave man sometimes! But I do need to give him credit, I think he's getting it. I try to prepare him before hand by talking to him on our drive to our destination about there being other kids there who will want to play with toys too, so he'll need to take turns. In fact this morning just as we pulled into the parking lot to the church where playgroup is held without my prompting he said, "Mom I don't want to share." Apparently he knew "The Sharing Talk" was coming, we talked about it a little more and he said, "Okay, I'll share." And you know what he did, he played so well with the other kids. I'll take life one small victory at a time. Look at my angel!

Noah's turning into quite a little charecter, he's one happy little boy. He loves being on the move and thinks the world of his brother. Last week Andy got a little video clip of the two of them playing a game they started on their own where Fisher went to the top of our little slide and rolled the ball to Noah who was at the bottom. Noah couldn't roll it back so Fisher would go head first down the slide into his brother and they would both roll giggling on the ground and then do it again. It was so cool to "catch them" having so much fun together, not because Andy or I told them they should play nice, but because they were totally enjoying the others company. I can't wait to see more of those moments as they grow. Speaking of the backyard, here's one of Noah getting around with a little help from one of his toys.
