Life's Blessings & Trials
On any given day there are things that I am dreaming about and looking forward to, but I have come to understand true contentment. It comes from a belief that God has me just where I need to be, doing what I'm intended to do, as long as I am listening to His desire for my life.

Baldy and His Big Borther
I think that I've misplaced a memory stick that has all my pictures from the last few months. So it has all Noah's birth pictures and no, I hadn't developed or saved them so if I don't find it you can imagine I will be very disapointed! Regardless, I am going to make a concerted effort to take more pictures to make sure Noah doesn't think his life is undocumented. So here they are- my all stars!

My Best Friend's Wedding
First, sorry it's been SO long since my last post. We've been very busy, but mostly just with everyday life. Andy's been working his tail off trying to get the house re-roofed before old man winter shows up. He's also been busy learning the ropes in the office at work, we're so grateful for the opportunities that Ed's giving him at Proter Builders.
Fisher's been trying to learn his alphabet, he mostly fills in the letters at the end of each line of the song when momma sings with him, his favorite part is "Next time won't you- ME!" This past weekend Fisher stayed with my parents while Andy Noah and I went to Milwaukee for my best high school friend's wedding. We had a lot of fun, but it sure was a whirlwind weekend. The wedding was very cool, Lisa (that's my friend) married an Indian guy, so there were a lot of interesting Indian customs involved in the ceremony. Lisa also put sort of a 40's glam spin to several things too, it was very swank and beautiful. Unfortunately I didn't get a lot of great photos before my camera died but I'll post what I've got. Noah got to spend alot of time with Andy over the weekend as I was pretty busy with bridesmaid stuff. I think it was good for both of us. I had fun getting my hair done, doing my nails, dancing and spending time with friends. It was good for Andy too, to have time just he and Noah so they could figure each other out without me around to tell him how to calm Noah down or swooping in every time he makes a peep. That's one peice of advice that I like to give first time mom's - if you'd like your baby's daddy to help with the baby let him. Just because he may not do it the way you do it, doesn't mean it's wrong, he has to be given the chance to figure things for himself. Noah's doing great- he's not exactly settled into a routine in the typical sense of the word, but he is pretty predictable in that he cycles through a pattern of eating-playing (or at least being awake while we try to play with him)- sleeping and then repeat. So we usually know what he wants when he fusses. His eyes are starting to change color they have brown in them but I don't think they'll be as dark as Fisher's. At his last doctor's appointment a couple weeks back (his 2 month appointment) he was 12 lbs. 8 oz. and 24 inches long, he's growing well and is usually a pretty happy little guy. So here are the pictures of what we're up to!
