Big Boy Biker & Biking Baby Belly
This kid rode 3.5 miles yesterday evening on TWO wheels. Can you believe it? We went for a family bike ride on the recreation trail between Charlevoix and Petoskey, it's a beautiful path, that follows the Lake Michigan Shoreline. Fisher first had Daddy take off the training wheels last weekend and he's been unstoppable ever since, learning in the last week how to get started on his own, how to turn, riding off the curb, and yesterday's new lesson was how to coast down hills (small ones).
So, I'm not overly enthusiastic to post "belly pictures" on the internet. But, I am glad to still be doing some biking at 32 weeks. I remember biking while I was pregnant with Noah two summer's ago, but I must have been even further along because I remember my knees getting to the point they bumped my belly at the top of each pedal. I guess I still have a few weeks until that happens again.
We also managed to make it to two sets of fireworks, a birthday party, a street parade, a boat parade, the beach, kite flying and sailing over the weekend. There were a couple things that we had to divide up and do in pairs, just to fit it all in, but we had a great time. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE that Andy doesn't have to be working on the house like he has in previous summers. The boys and I have so much fun with him and it's great that the stress of finishing projects around here is no longer looming over him. Speaking of things looming, I should get back to laundry before I have to start dinner. Take Care!

Finally! A belly shot. You have been very adamant about me taking no tummy shots!
Wow! You're already 32 weeks?! Where did the time go?? You look GREAT, Sara! You don't look that far along at all! How do you do that? :)
I LOVE THE TITLE! QUITE AMAZING THAT A KID 3.5 YRS OLD CAN RIDE 3.5 MILES ON A TWO WHEELER! MUST HAVE INHERITED HIS DADDY'S PASSION FOR BIKING??
SEE YOU SOON. LOVE, MOMBO
You look BEAUTIFUL! 3.5 miles, what a big boy!
We're encouraged by Nolan's potty progress (even though we know it'll be a while before he's trained) as of late...he went TWICE yesterday. =) Question for ya-when should we start putting him in pull-ups or something similar? Any ideas?
Guess what?!?!? Nolan went pee 3 times on Sunday!! And even better-he TOLD us he had to go!!! =) Not a hint of #2 yet, but I'm still giddy!!
I love the bike path up here, don't you?
You look FABULOUS. Glad to see that you're not letting pregnancy stop you from enjoying life and your family.
And I am amazed that Fisher is riding a bike without training wheels. L was asking what I was reading earlier, and he couldn't believe it either. He asked me "Are you sure?" and I replied, "Yes, look at the picture." :)
