Fisher, Noah, and their Racing Machines
We spent most of our long weekend in TC. We caught the fireworks friday night, saturday morning went to the big wheel race, went back to my parents for a bite to eat and a little break before heading down to watch the air show. Then Andy and I went to a wedding while my parents watched the boys for the evening. We finally came home sunday afternoon after going to church and the car show and craft show! Wow- it wears me out just thinking about all we got to do.
Noah had a great time using the electric 4-wheeler at Mimi and Popsie's house this weekend. He calls it, "my Jeep." He still has work to do on the whole steering thing, but he absolutely loves it, we're just glad it doesn't go faster than what an adult can walk beside him. As for the race, Fisher took first in his heat, he was so excited about his blue ribbon! There's a rule in the big wheel race that there can be no rubber tires or improved traction. So for the final race they told him he could not use his own bike because of the improved traction on the wheel. (It's just a little softer red plastic material, definitely not rubber, but no one's arguing.) So he ended up with a loaner bike and the change in equipment threw him off a little, but he ended up taking 6th overall in the 3-4 year old race. We're so proud of him!

Silly question, Sara, but what does it mean you say he took first in "his heat"? In his age category? Congratulations to Fisher! He must have been so proud of himself!
He looks so confident on the bike with his sunglasses on. I'd be nervous to race against him. :)
