After Yesterday,

I have no doubt that there will be diggers and loaders in heaven. My boys were totally in awe of the heavy equiptment as they dug a driveway and pulled some old cement slabs from our backyard. This weekend Andy has a concrete mixer (how exciting?!) coming to pour a driveway for us, so while the excavator was here, they pulled some stumps and brought top soil so that we can even out some low spots and plant grass where the old slabs used to be. Our backyard is going to be tranformed, YAY!!! But, for now, the boys will be needing baths every night or maybe multiple times a day, they are magnets for that pile of black dirt next to their sandbox. All this also means that I'll have new flowerbeds to plant more perennials along the driveway. This, I'm very excited about. Fisher's excited to be able to ride his bike in our driveway instead of going to the neighbors or waiting for Mom and Dad to take him to the school parking lot in the next block over. And I'm really excited to see Noah riding a tricycle alongside his brother next summer in the driveway. I'll keep you posted with photos of all the hoopla! Take Care All!
Notice both boys are ready for working sporting their Carhart :)

how exciting! isn't it funny how seemingly mundane things become such blessings when you look at it through a different eyes (wife or mother)?? =)
