Little Cameron
For those of you who have not yet heard, Andy's Cousin's(Sommer)son, Cameron, was recently diagnosed with a Cancer type disease called Langerhans' Cell Histiocytosis or LCH. He went to Devos last week for treatment. The doctor's say Cam is treatable and if he responds well to treatment between 90 - 95% of those kids are cured, so everyone's very optimistic. I've been staying updated through a care page that Sommer and her husband, Mike have been posting on. They're home and have good indication from the way it sounds that Cameron is responding well to his medication and treatment. He had his first chemo treatment last week and they are headed down again this tuesday for Cam's second chemo treatment. He's scheduled every tuesday for six weeks. After that he will get retested and if he is accepting the treatment they will go once every three weeks for a year. I tell you all this to ask that you please pray for Cam he's 11 months old, and he and his family have a long road ahead but they have every reason to be hopeful.
